    Some pictures I took during Expometrique '98. Of course, this is only a few of the layouts present at Expometrique '98 ! Please forgive the poor quality of some shots, since I am just a beginner with Digital cameras.

    Decauville motorcar Decauville motorcar based on a Tramway de Royan prototype by Alain Duchesne

    Alain Duchesne's petrol powered motorcar is paying a friendly visit to the "Chemin de fer Cantonal du Köstritz", a German FREMO module, Oe16.5 scale.

    Francois Fontana's Plage-les-Bains François Fontana's Plage-les-Bains micro-layout

    All the poetic world of François Fontana, a new and promising GEMME member. Plage-les-Bains was unfinished at the time of Expométrique '98, a barocco church should be placed shortly near the upper terminal of the funicular.

    Plage-les-Bains is the third Micro-Layout proposed in Loco-Revue's and GEMME competition by François Fontana.

    H. Masaki's business card layout Hiromi Masaki's business card Nf layout

    Probably the most stunning Micro-Layout of Expométrique '98. Hiromi Masaki powered its Nf (1/160 scale, 3.5mm gauge !!!) Railino diesel engine using a pager motor. All details regarding this achievement may be found at Hiromi's Nf page at http://www.w-ing.or.jp/~hiromi/

    St. Pierre 1/34 scale layout Saint-Pierre, a 1/34 scale layout by C. Payne

    A narrow-gauge railway in the North of France as seen by British citizen C. Payne of Ramsbury, Wiltshire. Emphasize has been made on operation of the layout.

    Eneret: Otto Schouwstra's turf factory 1/35 scale layout of a turf factory by Otto Schwoustra

    Netherland based GEMME member Otto Schwoustra was competing in the Micro-Layout competition with this turf processing plant.

    Northern American influence is strong within the GEMME. American narrow-gauge have formed an unformal group called the "GANG", in french "Groupe des Amateurs de Narrow-Gauge" (Narrow gauge fans group).
